We’ll cover basics such as recognizing stitch orientation, taking out stitches, picking up dropped stitches, too many or too few stitches, counting rows and other topics as time permits.

Homework: Please bring a swatch knit with light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 8, 9 or 10 needles. Cast on 24 stitches. Knit 6 rows. Knit 8 rows in stockinette (alternate knit and purl rows). Knit 6 more rows. Knit 8 more rows in stockinette. Leave on needles.
