Spots and Stripes – Fun with Fingerless Gloves

Slipped stitches and easy, one-row stripes combine for a blend of color and texture. You will learn how to hide your color change “jog” and to create an easy thumb gusset! Join Kathy for this adventure in color fun!

Skill level: Confident advanced beginner. Must be able to knit in the round.

Materials: 2 skeins Shibui Staccato, one each in 2 colors, is recommended. Or approximately 90 yards each of 2 colors in an equivalent fingering weight yarn.

Homework (prior to class): With smaller needles and Color A, use long tail method to cast on 52 stitches. Divide stitches onto 3 needles and join. Purl 3 rounds.
