The Festival will be held at the Oxford Powerhouse on Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30, 2016, with some additional classes and opening reception on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Every day, we will post information about one of the 22 classes and information about one of the participating vendors.
Our featured class today is Intro to Tatting.
Roiana Buckmaster will lead us on Friday, January 29, 2016 from noon until 3 p.m. as we learn a simple method of tatting for beginners, that takes the mystery out of this wonderful lace form. In this class, students will learn the two halves of the tatting stitch, making a picot for decoration, making a ring, and joining rings – all by crafting a butterfly pin. Materials are provided as well as a tatting shuttle for students to keep, and are included in the class fee. Class size is kept small for plenty of individual instruction. The class will cost $50.
Call the Shop starting on December 20 to sign up for this class! Space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon. For full class listings, visit our class page.
